LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - They raised more than $81,000 using their own manpower to pull a plane.

Hundreds of participants worked in groups to see who could pull a plane 12 feet in the fastest time as part of the UPS Plane Pull at Louisville's Atlantic Aviation on Standiford Lane on Saturday.

The Boeing 757 weighed more than 140,000 pounds.

For the fourth year in a row, Champion Trucking Heavy Haulers won the men's division with a time of less than seven seconds.

Money raised from this event goes to help Special Olympics programs across Kentucky.

"We've participated the last four or five years for UPS healthcare. It's a great cause," Lisa Wade said. "We have people that we know that participate and benefit from the Special Olympics personally, so it's just a great thing for us to be able to do."

The co-ed winners were the Louisville Royals, with a time of 7.25 seconds.

The women's winners were the DSD Seven Counties, with a time of 10.53 seconds.

Winning teams were given a trophy with a UPS plane on top.
