New exhibit at Ali Center highlights Dr. King's 1965 march in Alabama

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A new civil rights exhibit in Louisville is honoring Martin Luther King, Jr., and highlights one his famous marches..

The display, which opened at the Muhammad Ali Center on Saturday, showcases MLK's five-day, 54-mile march from Selma, Ala., to the steps of the state capitol in Montgomery on March 25, 1965.

That's when thousands of demonstrators marched for voting rights.

The exhibit includes 51 pictures along with descriptions.

It'll be up at the Ali Center through February.
