LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The social networking site LinkedIn is ready to pay up for sending too many emails.
A class action suit was filed in 2013 by people who used the site's "add-connections" feature.
Some LinkedIn members were upset that address book contacts were sent multiple reminder emails.
So LinkedIn agreed to a $13 million settlement for those who experienced the problem between September of 2011 and and October of 2014.
The amount of money given to each user will be calculated by the number of claims.
Claims can be filed until Dec. 14.
