Earthquake measuring 2.6 shakes Shelbyville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --  Residents in Shelby County may have felt the Earth move late Monday. 

The U.S. Geological Survey confirms a small earthquake hit Shelbyville about 10:52 p.m. on Monday.  The quake measured a 2.6 on the Richter scale. That's a minor quake which the USGS says is felt slightly by some people. But no damage is reported to building. 

Some viewers posted on WDRB social media that they felt the quake.
