WASHINGTON, Ind. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police say two people were arrested after 19 meth labs were found inside a home in Washington, Indiana.

Daniel and Tina Purdue were arrested Monday evening at a home in the 2000 block of South State Road 57, Lot 39, in Washington, according to a news release from Indiana State Police.

Officials say an Indiana State Police trooper and a Washington Police officer went to the home to investigate suspected meth activity.

Authorities say the officers saw, in plain view, tin foil covered with suspected drug residue.

Officers searched the home and located 19 "one pot" meth labs, 24 syringes, 54 foil "boats," which are used to smoke and ingest methamphetamine, marijuana, Hydrocodone and other drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Daniel and Tina Purdue are being held at the Daviess County Security Center.

Both are charged with manufacturing and dealing meth, meth possession, marijuana possession, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
