Two people killed after plane crashes in Florida mobile home park

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The NTSB is trying to figure out what caused a small plane to crash into a Florida mobile home park, killing two people.

The crash happened Tuesday.

Investigators say one of the people killed was the pilot and the other victim was someone killed on the ground.

No passengers are believed to have been on the plane, but a man says his 21-year-old daughter was trapped inside a mobile home.

"They started an aggressive attack, brought it under control, kept exposures to a minimum to the two homes and no surrounding homes were affected," said Palm Beach Co. Fire Rescue Capt. Alberto Borroto.

Officials haven't said whether the crash killed or hurt anyone else.

The Red Cross is helping several families who are now out of their homes.
