LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Katina Powell, the self admitted 'madam' who wrote Breaking Cardinal Rules, has retained an attorney.

Attorney Larry Wilder of Jeffersonville confirmed to WDRB news Wednesday night he now represents Powell, who has accused University of Louisville basketball staffer Andre McGee of hiring her to provide strippers and escorts for men's basketball recruits and players.

Wilder told WDRB Powell's daughters were adults -- and not underage -- when they took part in activities she describes in the book.

Wilder also said Powell sought him because she worries she could face criminal charges based on what she has alleged in the book.
