POLICE: Six arrested at Louisville home where heroin, meth, LSD, prescription meds found
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested six people at a home where illegal drugs were found.
According to multiple arrest reports, the incident occurred at a home on S. 20th Street, near W. Broadway, just before 11 p.m. Monday.
Police say they were sent to the home after someone reported that a resident was using heroin and leaving syringes in the front yard.
When officers arrived, they allegedly made contact with 27-year-old Sean Mattingly, a resident of that address who was on home incarceration. Police say they saw track marks -- indicative of drug use -- on Mattingly's body. At that point, home incarceration officers were called to investigate.
According to arrest citations, a search of the home uncovered heroin, methamphetamine, LSD and prescription pills. Police say they also recovered 26 syringes, scales, packaging materials and two phone SIM cards.
"These are all indicative of trafficking in illegal drugs," police say.
Police arrested Mattingly, as well as several additional suspects allegedly found inside the home: 26-year-old Brandy Wooten, 28-year-old Whitney Hanlon, 33-year-old Whitney Chandler, 41-year-old Anthony Acton and 44-year-old Keith Haggard. All four of them face multiple counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.
