LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Our meteorologists have been tracking this weather system for about a week – and now it's here.

So far it's been pretty light, but that's expected to change, with more rain heading into our area.

"All of this in association with that area of low pressure," said WDRB Meteorologist Jeremy Kappell. "This is the low that was formerly known as Hurricane Patricia. It's hard to believe we’re talking about the same system. Certainly just a very weak version of what it was when it came on shore at the Mexican coast late last week. But all of the moisture associated with it is gonna get scooped up, pushed up in our direction, and that’s going to translate into a wet Tuesday and into your Wednesday as well."
