LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man on a murder charge.

Lorenzo Allen, 23, was arrested Tuesday morning at his home in the 4000 block of West Muhammad Ali Blvd., near South 40th Street, according to an official police report.

Police say Allen is connected with a murder that happened on Feb. 19.

Authorities say Allen drove himself and Iandashaun Neal to the area of 28th and Bank Street, where the men allegedly robbed 24-year-old Keiandre Grinstead. Investigators say Neal then shot and killed Grinstead.

Officials say Allen then drove away from the scene after the murder.

According to Metro Corrections website, Neal was booked into jail on March 21. Neal is facing several charges including murder and tampering with physical evidence.

In addition to the murder charge, officials have charged Allen with robbery and tampering with physical evidence.

Allen is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $500,000 cash bond.

He is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
