AMBER Alert canceled after missing 2-year-old from Tennessee found safe

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Amber Alert issued for a two-year-old child missing from Knoxville, Tennessee has been canceled. 

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, a state agency created to assist local law enforcement agencies in that state, two-year-old Brooklynne Enix was found in Morrow County, Ohio, along with her father, 36-year-old Tyler Ward Enix.

Brooklynne is safe, but police say her mother, Kimberly, was found dead in her apartment earlier yesterday. Neighbors allegedly say Tyler Enix driving away from the apartment in his wife's car before her body was discovered. Brooklynne Enix, the shared daughter of Tyler and Kimberly, had been missing since the incident.

Tyler Enix was wanted for first degree murder. He is currently in custody and will be interviewed. After that process, he will be extradited back to Tennessee.
