LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new center opened Monday to help feed Louisville's elderly.

The new Senior Nutrition Congregate will operate from Molo Village on West Jefferson Street. Meals will be served around 11:30 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

The site also provides social engagement and information on programs and services for aging residents.

The services and meals are for people 60 or older.

Metro Community Services says the senior nutrition program works year-round to help seniors stay healthy.
