LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville's Economy Inn went through another inspection Monday.

One of the general managers says this is the health department's fourth visit of the year to the motel's location on Bardstown Road.

Last month, a state hearing officer recommended a re-inspection because of its repeated history of failing.

Mangers say so far, they've spent half a million dollars on renovating more than 80 out of their 187 rooms.

Health officials looked for cleanliness and violations inside at least eight rooms Monday evening, and we were told inspectors chose them at random.

"We give them the list and say we have 187 rooms, these are the rooms that are unoccupied, you may choose what you like," general manager Avis Zoma said. "They choose what rooms they want to go to, we have a master key."

The Health Department says the inspection results should be released Tuesday morning.
