LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- After months of planning and construction, a hip new hotel is officially open for business.
The boutique hotel called "Aloft" is on the corner of First and Main. It's eight stories high with 175 rooms.
Aloft officials say they want to appeal to a younger crowd, and with the Yum Center and Whiskey Row nearby, they believe it'll be one of the most popular hotels in town.
Downtown Louisville currently has about 3,000 hotel rooms.
