Man accused of robbing Fifth Third Bank pleads not guilty

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police swarmed a downtown parking garage to catch him, and today, the suspect in a Louisville bank robbery appeared before a judge. 

Jeffrey Sykes is accused of robbing the Fifth Third Bank on Fourth Street around 10 a.m. Thursday. 

Police say they found him hiding underneath a car inside a parking garage at the corner of Third Street and Liberty Street. Officers found a wig, clothing, and a gun abandoned on the same floor of the garage.

A not guilty plea was entered for Sykes in court on several charges including robbery.
