Undercover officer makes prostitution and drug bust
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An undercover LMPD officer busted two people on prostitution and drug charges.
According to arrest reports, a Louisville officer made an appointment with 37-year-old Sharon Scholl at a home on Gardiner Lane on Nov. 16. Police say that officer then made a deal to buy three grams of cocaine for $200 from Scholl,and agreed to pay her $150 to meet for one hour of sex.
Police say they witnessed 28-year-old Travis Morgan going inside Scholl's apartment shortly after she ordered the narcotics. After leaving the apartment, Morgan agreed to be searched by officers who found two $100 bills on him that matched the bills used by the undercover officer.
Investigators searched Scholl's apartment and say they found three grams of cocaine, pills, and heroin. Officers also searched Morgan's home where they say he gave them the combination to his safe. Inside, police say they found cocaine, heroin, a digital scale, an unknown amount of money, and a handgun.
Morgan is charged with drug trafficking and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Scholl is facing prostitution and drug charges.
