LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Four local non-profits that help children receive extra funding thanks to a $100,000 donation from Kosair Charities.

Project One, Global Game Changers, Theta Omega Incorporated and Wesley House Community Services received $25,000 each today.

Dr. Renee Campbell, with Wesley House, said the donation came at just the right time.

"We had a basement that flooded ever single time it rained," she told WDRB. "When it flooded, it also flooded the furnace and we would have to make repairs all the time, just over and over again, which really can drain an agency."

Campbell says the organization will also use some of the money to upgrade its childcare space.
