LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville woman tried to steal diapers and ended up on the run in only her bra and pants.

According to an arrest report, 30-year-old Amanda Young tried to leave the Kroger near W. Breckinridge on Nov. 17 without paying for a box of Huggies diapers.

A loss prevention staff member tried to stop Young. That's when police say the suspect dropped the diapers and started swinging, hitting the Kroger employee.

Police say Young also bit the employee, breaking the person's skin and leaving several teeth marks. As Young ran from the grocery store, the loss prevention employee grabbed her shirt which was ripped off of her body.

Officers later tracked Young down several streets over and she was wearing only her bra and pants. Police say she admitted to stealing the diapers and hitting the employee.

Young faces robbery, theft and fleeing from police charges.
