Grand jury indicts suspect in connection with murder of Richmond police officer

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man police say killed a Richmond police officer has been indicted by a grand jury.

Raleigh Sizemore is charged with murder.

Three other people face various charges in connection with the case, including attempted robbery. 

Officer Daniel Ellis was investigating a robbery the morning of Nov. 4 when he was shot inside the apartment of Gregory Ratliff on Ballard Drive. The indictment states Sizemore shot at several other officers besides Ellis.

Ratliff is charged with complicity to commit murder.
