LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – Drew Barker went 16-29 for 129 yards in his first career start, helping Kentucky to a 58-10 victory over Charlotte Saturday night at Commonwealth Stadium.
The Wildcats (5-6) snapped a five game win streak and kept their hopes of a bowl game alive. UK needs to win the final game of the regular season against Louisville in order to make its first bowl game since 2011.
Barker did not score a touchdown but UK’s offense got several of them from its running attack. Jojo Kemp ran for three scores and 165 yards. Boom Williams ran for two scores and 140 yards.
