LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they arrested a man after he was found in the ceiling of a Louisville food mart.

The incident took place on Sunday, just before 9 p.m., at the J&M Food Mart at the corner of W. Muhammad Ali Boulevard and S. 26th Street.

According to an arrest report, police went to the food mart after they received a report that a man had climbed into the ceiling, saying that someone was shooting at him.

When they arrived, officers allegedly found 30-year-old Antwone Jennings in the ceiling of the establishment. The store owner told Jennings to come down, but he refused. When the officer told him to come down, he did, according to the report.

Police say Jennings had slurred speech, was off-balance and was having trouble walking. He allegedly told officers that he had drank a beer and smoked a "blunt" of marijuana before coming to the store.

He was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing. He is currently being held in Louisville Metro Corrections.
