LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man and woman are charged with receiving stolen property after police say they tried to post bond for an inmate using stolen cash.

According to the arrest report, 57-year-old Wilma Jones and 67-year-old Glenn Webster showed up at the Hall of Justice on Nov. 24 with $10,000 in cash to post bond for Daryl Jones, who was in custody for receiving stolen property.

After receiving the cash, a detective noticed that some of the bills matched the characteristics of money involved in the case that 59-year-old Daryl Jones was arrested for on Nov. 22. According to the arrest report, police found more than $10,000 after executing a search warrant at the home where Daryl Jones was staying. Jones told police the money had been given to him, but admitted he knew the money was stolen.

Wilma Jones and Webster were arrested Tuesday evening and are now charged with receiving stolen property $10,000 or more.
