LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It has been in the University of Kentucky's halls for more than 80 years, but a controversial painting is now covered up.

This mural was donated to UK in the 1930s. It includes images of black people as slaves.

The decision to cover the mural follows a meeting between university president Eli Capilouto and members of the university community.

The mural will remain covered until the school comes up with a permanent solution for it.
