FRANKFORT, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear now has his very own portrait in Frankfort.

The painting was unveiled Tuesday. It's a tradition for each outgoing Governor in the Commonwealth.

Governor Beshear says he's humbled.

"It's just an honor to have my portrait here in the hall of governors with 56 men and a woman who have all been Kentucky's governor," he said.

The official portrait is now in the hands of the Kentucky Historical Society where it'll be on display at the Hall of Governors.
