Vacant house goes up in flames on Vincennes Street in New Albany, Ind.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Firefighters in New Albany, Ind. began working to put out a fire in a vacant home around 9 p.m. Tuesday night, officials on scene said. 

Fire Department officials told WDRB just before 10 p.m. the fire was burning mostly in the attic and the top floor. 

Officials said it was a vacant house and no one was injured in the blaze. 

Vincennes Street was blocked for firefighters and their equipment and officials said they expected it to remain closed into the early morning.
