Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft opens pop-up shop

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft opens it's pop-up shop today, featuring unique holiday gifts you won't find anywhere else.

The museum is still closed for renovation, so the shop is one block away in its satellite space on West Main Street. It features handmade goods by local artists, and from artists around the world.

"We're really trying to open up a range of products that appeal to a...wide range of tastes, and we're really excited because it presents a new way and a new approach to the way we look at art and crafts," said Julia Comer, shop manager for the museum.

Everything kicks off with the free shopping event, Martinis and Mistletoe, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight.

The pop-up shop will be open through Dec. 20.
