Special agent in charge of FBI in Louisville weighs in on Calif. attacks

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The special agent in charge of the FBI in Louisville weighed in on the California attacks today.

Howard Marshall says there is information that the FBI knows on the San Bernardino shooting that is not being shared with the public due to concerns for safety. He also says the agency has open investigations into possible terrorists and threats right here in Kentucky.

"These lone wolfs are extremists," he said. "One off, maybe not directly affiliated with a foreign terrorist organization, but maybe inspired a foreign terror organization. That's what concerns us the most because it's getting harder and harder to find them."

The comments came as Marshall addressed the Louisville rotary club during a luncheon.
