LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – After searching South Oldham High School with K-9 units Thursday afternoon, Oldham County Police now say a student may have brought a gun to school on Tuesday or Wednesday.
A school resource officer was told a student may have had a gun at school on Dec. 1 or Dec. 2. Police say students told them a 14-year-old had a gun and had threatened another student with it.
Police said the accused student was not in school on Thursday and refused to cooperate with police.
The 14-year-old has been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon on school property, possession of a gun by a minor and terroristic threatening.
Police did not find anything during the search of the school and also found nothing in a search of the student’s house.
