LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police say a new scam is making the rounds in southern Indiana.

According to a Facebook post, scammers are pretending to be calling from Vectren Energy or Duke Energy.

They tell callers a technician is about to shut off their power unless you pay them immediately with your credit card.

ISP says you should never give your personal or financial information over the phone.
