LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Officers in Maysville, Ky. are taking protecting Christmas seriously this year.
The Grinch was booked into the Mason County Detention Center Friday after he was arrested for stealing Christmas.
The 6-foot-2 resident of Whoville, Ky. has been charged with stealing Christmas and is being held on a $0 bond. He was booked just before 7 p.m., but police aren't saying what led them to the suspected holiday hijacker.
Officers have not said which Christmas the Grinch stole or what he did with it. We can only hope the holiday will be released from the police's evidence locker sometime in the next couple weeks.
This is not Kentucky's first run-in with wintry wickedness. In February, Harlan Police posted on Facebook asking Kentucky residents to be on the lookout for Queen Elsa -- who was wanted in connection to cold weather.
Elsa was eventually picked up in Hanahan, S.C., but was let go due to a lack of evidence of any wrong doing.
