Pet pictures with Santa benefit animal rescues

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Labradoodles, Corgis and other animals had their pictures taken with Santa this weekend.

Owners can bring their pets to all Feeders Supply locations for a Christmas photo shoot with Santa himself. That includes dogs, cats, fish, even chickens. Horses have even gotten in on the fun! Volunteers say all pets are welcome.

“We come every year and get their picture made with Santa and then we take the picture and use it for our Christmas card,” Karen Koch said.

One-hundred percent of the money raised from the pictures supports the Kentucky Humane Society and Floyd County Animal Rescue League.

Pictures with Santa are this weekend and next weekend on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Photo packages start at $12. You can get the picture on  mugs, ornaments, and other items.
