LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The New Albany man accused of driving women from Indiana to Louisville to perform sex acts is sentenced to 30 months in prison.

United States Attorney John E. Kuhn, Jr. announced Wednesday David McNeary, 34, will spend 30 months in prison for Interstate Transportation for Prostitution.

McNeary previously pleaded guilty to three charges in a grand jury indictment on Aug. 3. He was charged on May 20, and was arrested on May 22 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. McNeary was placed on home detention with work release.

According to the plea agreement, between January 2014 and March 2014, McNeary knowingly transported four different women during at least three different trips from Indiana to Kentucky, with the intent that they engage in prostitution.

The case was investigated by the FBI.
