JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WDRB) -- Clark County Sheriff's detectives gave victims of theft a chance to get their stolen items back which included everything from china to electronics to sporting goods.

Hundreds of items were taken from homes and storage units in southern Indiana and in Louisville over the last three months. The Clark County Sheriff's office arrested a southern Indiana couple Sunday night for the thefts.

Police say Landon Rothbauer and Erin Knight stole items that they would then sell at pawn shops or use to decorate their home. Rothbauer is charged with three counts of burglary; Knight faces one count of burglary.

On Thursday, December 11, police invited anyone who thought some of their items might be among their missing or stolen goods to visit the Clark County Sheriff's Office.

Captain Scottie Maples with the Clark County Sheriff's Department said it's unusual to be able to return so many stolen items to the rightful owners.
