LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – IU’s 45 point victory over McNeese State does not wipe away its embarrassing loss to Duke nor does it erase the memory of some of the team’s early season struggles. But it sure does feel good.
The Hoosiers won their third game in a row Saturday night at Assembly Hall, powering past the Cowboys 105-60.
“Our guys played really good from start to finish,” said head coach Tom Crean. “We played relatively fast and at the same time didn’t turn the ball over.”
James Blackmon Jr. scored a game-high 24 for the Hoosiers who only turned it over a season-low 9 times.
“The ball moved really well,” said Crean. “Those guys did an excellent job, no question.”
The Hoosiers moved to a perfect 7 and 0 at home. They are now 8-3 on the season. IU is off for 7 days and is back in action a week from Saturday against Notre Dame.
