LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Nelson County Sheriff's Department says an employee of Brooks Houck has been indicted for perjury in reference to the disappearance of Crystal Rogers.

In a Facebook post Wednesday afternoon, the Sheriff's Department announced Danny Singleton -- who they say works for Brooks Houck -- has been indicted on 38 counts of perjury.

Brooks Houck has been named as a suspect in the disappearance of Crystal Rogers over the summer. According to the post, Singleton's perjury was allegedly committed when he previously gave testimony to a grand jury.

This is the second time someone connected to Houck has come under police fire recently. Houck's brother, a Bardstown Police Officer, was fired from the department in October.

This week, the family of Crystal Rogers again made a plea for answers in her case and said they hope they can bring attention to other unsolved cases in Nelson County.

Danny Singleton is being held in the Nelson County Detention Center.
