Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- University of Louisville junior forward Mangok Mathiang broke a bone in his foot Saturday, head coach Rick Pitino announced after the game.

The injury happened during the Cardinals' 78-56 win over Western Kentucky at the KFC Yum! Center.

Mathiang, who was averaging 7.6 point and 5.8 rebounds in 18 minutes per game, will mist six to eight weeks, which would project him back sometime near the start of February.
