LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Bullitt Central High School math teacher is facing meth charges.

Officers arrested Kristan Smith last night for possession of a controlled substance. She's since been released from jail.

Smith has worked for Bullitt County Schools since June 2014.

The district's attorney, Eric Farris, says the superintendent will review Smith's teaching status during Christmas break, which ends on Jan. 4.
