LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – The majority of the college basketball computer polls rank Louisville ahead of Kentucky this week, but the 65 voters in the Associated Press Top 25 poll do not agree.

Although the Wildcats slipped eight spots, they remained ahead of the Cardinals when the poll was released at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Kentucky is ranked 12th while Louisville finished 16th. Rick Pitino’s team was ranked 19th last week.

The teams play Saturday at noon in Rupp Arena. John Calipari's team has lost twice, including an upset Saturday against Ohio State. Louisville's only loss came against Michigan State, which remained in the top spot.

The unbeaten Spartans received 64 of 65 first-place votes. Kansas earned one first-place votes, even though the Jayhawks lost to Michigan State in November.
