LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- U of L football players took a break from preparing for the Music City Bowl to visit sick kids at a local hospital.
Reggie Bonafon, James Burgess and Brandon Radcliff were just a few of the players who visited kids at Kosair Children's Hospital on Monday. The players brought gifts and spent time with the children.
The players say it was a very special visit.
"I was just talking to my family and we were communicating about how the Christmas spirit feels like it's gone," said running back Brandon Radcliff. "We're trying to bring back that Christmas spirit and bring some joy to the kids and to have some fun with them and bring some smiles to their faces."
The Petrino Family Foundation sponsored the visit.
