LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say a hold-up and a shooting were reported about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night at the corner of 34th and Market Streets.
Police spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said officers responded to the call of a robbery at Dino's Chicken. He says a black man entered the store and shot the owner in the leg, then demanded cash.
The suspect got money and took off. Police do not have a further description of the suspect.
The owner of the store was taken to University Hospital. He is expected to be okay, police say.
