LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Change is in the air at the Louisville International Airport.
Airport officials are calling 2015 a year of transformation and they want to keep the momentum going in 2016.
This year the airport offered nonstop service to 20 destinations in the U.S. The top three destinations were Chicago, New York and Orlando. It's the only airport in Kentucky with all four major airlines.
Overall, ticket prices didn't change much compared to last year.
The airport's load factor -- meaning the amount of people who board each plane -- is slightly below the national average of 82 percent.
The board has now increased its marketing budget to improve ridership.
