LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A grand jury has indicted a man for a murder that took place last month.

According to court documents, Terrance A. Brasher has been indicted for the Nov. 25 murder of 39-year-old Paysor Casey. Casey was found shot to death behind an empty building in the Beechmont area.

An autopsy revealed that Casey died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Eddie Robinson. Authorities say he was found in the 300 block of West Florence Avenue.

At the time, neighbors woke up to crime scene tape, police and the news that Casey was found murdered.

Pat Gipson lives next door to the building where Casey was found behind the apartment building that sits empty after a recent fire. Gipson says from her window, she hears arguing quite frequently.

"It's been a quiet neighborhood, but the past six to eight months, it's been kinda going downhill," Gipson said, at the time. "When I came down and looked out the kitchen window and I saw the tape and I saw the policeman going across the yard, I thought, 'Oh Lord, what's happened?'"

Gipson has lived in the Beechmont neighborhood for more than 20 years. Learning a man was found dead behind an apartment building across the street from her was frightening.

"It's more depressing than anything, to know that violence is spreading everywhere," said Gipson.
