Paoli Peaks spends another night making snow, but still remains closed due to high temperatures

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Paoli Peaks in southern Indiana hopes a new year brings some new snow.

Crews spent another night making snow Friday, their fourth attempt so far for the 2015-16 season, but the slopes still are not open.

Staff members say air temperatures and humidity are making things challenging. The temperature of their water source is also too warm.

On their website they say opening day is still a moving target, and it all depends on how much snow they can make.
