LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Rusty Troutman's career day earned him Player of the Week Honors on the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
The Bellarmine Junior was so honored for the second time this season after pouring in a career-best 34 points as the 17th-ranked Knights beat 11th-ranked Lincoln Memorial 98-84 Saturday afternoon. Troutman hit 10-of-15 shots from the field including 3-of-6 3's. He also had a game-high eight rebounds.
The Bullitt East High School product is now averaging 21.5 points per game, second in the GLVC.
Bellarmine (9-2, 2-0) plays nothing but conference competition from here on out. They visit Willam Jewell Thursday and Rockhurst Saturday.
