LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Up to 320,000 Time Warner Cable customers may have had email passwords stolen, the company told Reuters Wednesday.

Reuters reported the company's data may have been downloaded through phishing attacks or through data breaches of other companies who had Time Warner's customer information.

According to the report, there is no indication Time Warner Cable's systems were breached -- though the company did not say how the information was obtained.

A TWC spokesperson told Reuters it was notified by the FBI that some customers' information "may have been compromised."
