LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The fifth suspect in the shooting death of a Louisville toddler appeared in court on Saturday morning.

Duwan Mason was booked into Metro Corrections on Thursday.

Mason was arrested in Nashville last month and was just transferred to Metro Corrections.

He is charged with murder, wanton endangerment, attempted murder, as well as other charges.

He was located by U.S. Marshals in a Nashville apartment after officials received information about his location.

It was August of 2014 when Ne'riah Miller and her mother, Cierra Twyman-Miller, were gunned down on the front porch of their Shawnee neighborhood home.

Twyman-Miller survived the shooting, but her little girl died.

Four people have already been arrested in connection with the shooting: Michael Dunn Jr., William Mclemore, Demarkus Tramber and Trey Anderson.

Anderson told investigators the shooting was in retaliation to another shooting.
