LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The opening of the Liberty Street ramp in downtown Louisville has been delayed because of this weekend's rain and snow.

The ramp, which would link Liberty Street to I-65 North, was expected to open this weekend. A new date has not been set.

The ramp closed in February 2015 to help alleviate traffic congestion on downtown streets. It was then rebuilt to make new connections for the new Abraham Lincoln Bridge.

As the closure remains, drivers can use Muhammad Ali Boulevard to access I-65 North.
