Floyd County Emergency Management investigating multiple reports of natural gas odor

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Floyd County Emergency Management is investigating multiple calls reporting the odor of natural gas throughout Floyd County, according to an e-mail from Ryan Houchen, a spokesperson for the Lafayette Township Fire Protection District.

"Since early this morning, several fire agencies have [been] receiving calls on the smell of natural gas or propane all over Floyd Co., In.," Houchen writes. "The Floyd County EMA director has been in contact with the local natural gas and propane companies. They are investigating and will advise if they find anything."
