Louisville Zoo hosting job fair for seasonal positions

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Zoo is looking for season workers and will host a job fair on Jan. 30. 

The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Zoo's Gheens Room and will showcase what positions will be open and offer you chances to apply. 

The Zoo needs people for seasonal positions in Admissions, Education, Guest Services, Membership and Rides and Attractions.

Applicants should be outgoing, highly motivated individuals who enjoy working with the public and will provide outstanding customer service.

Training will be offered for those hired.

Seasonal jobs at the Zoo pay $8.50/hour. You must be at least 16-years-old and able to work a variable schedule that includes mostly days, but also nights and weekends from March through October.

Some jobs require a valid driver's license, someone at least 18-years-old or possibly CPR, AED and First Aid Certification.

All other full-time and part-time vacant positions will be posted weekly on the Louisville Government website at www.louisvilleky.gov/HumanResources
