PALMYRA, Ind. (WDRB) -- Police in Harrison County have released more details about two suspects they're looking for after a couple was shot in their home Wednesday morning.

Police were at the home of Ralph and Rebecca Thomas for nine hours after the newlywed couple was shot.

Both victims were taken to University Hospital. Ralph Thomas was shot in the head. His wife was shot through the shoulder and the bullet was lodged in her jaw.

Daran Hodges, a chief deputy with the Harrison County Sheriff's Department says Ralph Thomas is still alive, but in "grave" condition.

Police are looking for two suspects: Travis Fentress and Tara Van Winkle, both from Harrison County. According to Hodges, investigators believe drugs may have been involved, because both the suspects and the victims have been involved with drugs in the past.

Officials say Fentress was the one who pulled the trigger on both victims.

We're told the pair left the crime scene in a white Kia with Florida license plate number EUII22.

Hodges says they have been following up on tips since the shooting, including one that the suspects were heading to Florida.

Authorities are asking anyone with any information about the suspects' whereabouts to call the Harrison County Police Department at 812-738-2195.
